Superstition

A photograph from an excavated tomb of a Catholic Saint

One of my biggest interests is the ancient relationships between man and the spiritual.

The art, and passion showed by colonies and civilizations worlds apart in the early world inspires me.
In particular, the conviction of people's work in honor of their faith, such as the colossal landmarks of Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt, as well as the work of Haitan, and early Christian colonies for me,
Is a record of humans trying to materialize the world they hope to inherit after death.

This photograph is an example. Stones and metals that were dangerous to mine, and expensive to forge
have been sealed in a tomb around the body of a deceased saint, never to be seen again by those who crafted the pieces.
